Holiday On Ice
Ice Capades in Worcester, Mass...the Nets get a condensation cancellation thanks to the heat inside the building on the court over the ice rink.
Sheesh. What's next, a Gum-out? (Did you see the gum on the court and the staff working feverishly to remove it on Thursday night?)
So we didn't learn much in this one, except the Big Four didn't even go up there, Boki was back and carried the offense, and Shawn Williams sure knows how to pick up fouls (4 in 5 minutes, apparently).
Adding insult to injury, according to Sussman, the flight back home was a wee bit choppy...
The Celtics are back on the schedule Tuesday night. A look via YES at KG, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce together at last...Or maybe not, if they don't come for the ride.
We're down to 10 days until opening night at the Izod Center. Cuts are coming shortly (can you possibly guess who's not going to make the team? Who shouldn't but will?), Kidd's still days away from a return from the back injury, Marcus Williams and Bernard Robinson are out until December probably, and who knows what else could happen in the next 10 days.
But it's time to get it started, anyway.
