Milwaukee Bucks (8 - 12) - Wednesday, December 13, 2006, 7:30PM EST - Continental Airlines Arena
Like Royalty
The Bucks continue to act like royalty, at least on the offensive end, averaging over 100 points per game as they come to town. So why the losing record? They give up over 103 (4th worst in the league), and they let teams shoot a league-worst 48.5% agains them - that pretty much sums it up. Like dethroned royalty, you might say. For a team missing a key piece like Charlie Villanueva for awhile, they seem to have found an able replacement in up-until-now defensive whiz (and noted bed seed) Reuben Patterson. Go figure. Michael Redd's still here, but this team is as inconsistent as the Nets...another team that considers itself NBA royalty, but unfortunately, has rarely proved it on the court thus far this season. Nets need wins, and the Bucks might make a good queen to behead...

Why Should You Watch? Will Michael Redd start popping off? Can the frontline hold off Charlie V? Can Carter duplicate his three-ballin' performance from Monday night? In fact, which Nets team will even show up? There is much to be said for getting a rhythm going, especially on the home court. Don't you want to see if the Nets can find some rhythm, offensively or defensively? And what's with Richard Jefferson?

Milwaukee Bucks Cheat Sheet
The Story From Milwaukee: From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: The Bucks must be doing something right. Even though the Bucks have established themselves as a potent scoring team, they haven't established an offensive identity. "I don't know if I'd classify our offense as a post-up team or a pick-and-roll team or a three-point shooting team," coach Terry Stotts said. "But we're managing to score. The points in the paint . . . I don't think even after watching us play, I don't think you'd say that we really dominate the paint on offense. But somehow in most games, we have more points in the paint than our opponent."
Pain Game: F Bobby Simmons (heel) is out. Jeff McInnis, Cliff Robinson (knee) and Mile Ilic won't dress for the Nets.
