Philadelphia 76'ers (15 - 33) - Monday, February 5, 2007, 7:00PM EST - Wachovia Center
Bad To The Bone
A.I. gone. C-Webb gone. Larry Brown back, but not as coach. What the hell? Yup, the Sixers are rebuilding, bad to the bone right now, but hopefully somewhere down the line they'll be picking Kevin Durant or Greg Oden or someone like that. Otherwise, well, you're looking at Andre Iguodala, Andre Miller, and a whole lot of mediocre players. But the Nets haven't exactly been stellar now, have they? So, never say never in Philly, where VC went for 41 back in December but they still almost blew it. I'm off the New Orleans, y'all have a nice time with this one.
Why
Should You Watch? It's about time the Nets absolutely beat up on someone - why not the struggling Sixers? Vince Carter needs a boost, and you're thinking if he could get 41 against them before...Frankly, there isn't a lot else to look out for on the Sixer side, so let's make it about the Nets, and Boki, Marcus, Cliff, Josh, Eddie and anyone else who can make a contribution off the bench. I swear, if the free throw shooting doesn't improve...one place the Nets could still struggle - rebounding, with Dalembert and Hunter work. Kyle Korver got made three ability.

Philadelphia 76'ers Cheat Sheet
The Story From Illa-del: From the Philadelphia Inquirer: Chris Webber, on his release from the Sixers: "To tell you the truth, I can't believe they bought me out," Webber said. "I can't. I thank Billy [King] to this day for allowing it. We had very frank and open conversations, and he knew how I felt. He knew I was working hard when they came to me."
Pain Game: C Shavlik Randolph (ankle) is on IL. . F Richard Jefferson (ankle) and C Nenad Krstic (knee) are out for the Nets.
