Things are going from bad to worse in Charlotte, which has now lost seven of their last eight. Sunday's loss to the Bucks in which the 'Cats managed 2 points in the last 3 and a half minutes after leading by as many 9 has things looking bleak, as those around the team continue to question coach Sam Vincent's moves, and everyone wonders if ping pong balls are in the near future of this suddenly declawed franchise. The Nets, of course, hope to capitalize on their home victory over the Bobcats Friday night, their excellent road record, and the fine play from Kidd, Carter and Jefferson to gain another road victory. But we all know what happens to 'Cats when you back them into a corner, right? Look out, Nets.

Why Should You Watch? Can Jason Kidd get another triple double? Why not? Gerald Wallace hit the floor more often than Joe Frazier in the last matchup - think he wants some revenge? Vince Carter back in NC, always special. The Big Three have started to up their games, but can they lead the Nets to an easy victory, something that hasn't been seen in quite some time in Netsfanland? Sean Williams and Josh Boone did a good job against Emeka Okafor - can they keep it up? Old friend Jeff McInnis is starting at the point for the 'Cats (and was abused by Vince Carter in the last game), and well, you just can't make this kind of stuff up.

The Story From Charlotte: From the Charlotte Observer: Here's a quote from Gerald Wallace after the latest loss to the Bucks: "That hump is turning into a hill. That hill is turning into a mountain," Wallace said of the seven defeats-in-eight games streak Charlotte reached Sunday against the Milwaukee Bucks.

"Me, JRich, Emeka -- somebody has got to do something to get over the mountain," Wallace added.

Pain Game: F Sean May (knee), F Adam Morrison (knee) and F Othella Harrington (knee) are all out for the Bobcats. F Antoine Wright (ankle) is questionable. C Nenad Krstic ( knee) is out for the Nets.
