No Tricks, All Treat
The Chicago Bulls are in town in a Halloween opener that promises to shock and thrill you. Netsfans, beware of the spooky Bull roster that promises all types of chills and spills from Luol Deng, Ben Gordon, Ben Wallace, Tyrus Thomas, Kirk Hinrich, and all the rest. Favored to haunt the top of the Eastern Conference, but the Nets are hoping to find all treats and no tricks from the Big Three of Kidd, Carter and Jefferson, plus new ghouls Magloire, Allen Armstrong, and Sean Williams. Can the Nets invoke the ghost of Vincent Price and scare the bejeebers out of the Bulls? We'll find out, in Game 1 of the 2007 - 2008 season.
Why
Should You Watch? A brand new season, where hope reigns supreme - do you have to ask? Watching Kidd, Carter, Jefferson and Krstic, all healthy and back together, is good for the soul. Love them or not, the Bulls bring enough hope of their own for a big season that the game serves as an immediate measuring stick to where the Nets are at. Andres Nocioni is irritating as all hell, and you need that in your life - a villian you love to boo and hiss at. No one like Bulls coach Scott Skiles, especially not Jason Kidd. Watch the fir fly. You want to see Sean Williams block a shot into the fifth row, right? Maybe this is the last time you see this group of Bulls, of the rumored Kobe Bryant to the Bulls trade happens.

Chicago Bulls Cheat Sheet
The Story From Chicago: Kobe Bryant trade talk continues to be a hot topic, with the Bulls considered the frontrunner. Coach Phil Jackson was quoted in the Riverside Press-Enterprise as saying "We're listening ... That's part of the deal that we have (with Bryant), that we'd listen. And Chicago has been one of the active teams, but there's nothing imminent."
From Fox Sports: "Aaron, from the first day of training camp -- of the group of young bigs -- has learned what we're trying to do better than the rest, has been able to execute the offense better than the rest. His defensive position is better than the rest and he deserves an opportunity." -- Coach Scott Skiles, on why he gave rookie center Aaron Gray two starts during preseason.
Pain Game: F Joakim Noah (ankle) is out. F Tyrus Thomas (foot), C Ben Wallace (ankle), F Andres Nocioni (calf) and F Adrian Griffin (back) are all questionable. G Marcus Williams (foot) is out.
