The Cowboy Killer?
Everyone made a big deal of Tony Parker's statement that he was glad to see Devin Harris move to the Eastern Conference (since he matches up so well against Parker), but will it make any difference to a young Nets squad looking to forge it's new identity? Guess we'll find out, and the Nets tackle the first of a home-and-home with the Spurs, their last home game before heading out on the road for the next week. Harris was fine in his Net debut, but he needs to be finer still, while someone has to stop Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili (who seems to be scoring at will this year), and the rest of the Spurs from ruining the Harris love-fest. Oh, and by the way, the Spurs have won eight straight to match the best of the West (the Lakers). Who's up to the challenge? We'll find out who the realy Cowboy killer is tonight.
Why
Should You Watch? Devin Harris vs. Tony Parker - love it already, and it's just begun. This is where the Nets need another total team effort, not just from Carter and Jeffferson, but from everyone else besides. Look for Josh Boone and Desgaga Diop to battle Duncan, who makes even the best look silly. Get some fouls on that boy! Without Jason Collins to kick around, there are no excuses for the Nets if they can't contain. Ginobili used to be a Jason Kidd specialty, so if Harris matches Parker, can Carter match Manu? Oh, Lawrence Frank's head must be spinning with the possibilities.

San Antonio Spurs Cheat Sheet
The Story From San Antonio:
From the San Antonio Express News: Lucky to escape from their own personal hell in Milwaukee, the Spurs have now won eight straight games as they come East to face the Nets tonight. "We were very fortunate," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "Milwaukee probably played better basketball for more minutes than we did."
"I don't think we approached the game with the right mentality, knowing that every game is so important," said Manu Ginobili, who posted his 10th 30-point night of the season. "It's easy to play against Dallas, and bring the right mentality. We've got to do that every game."
Pain Game: Both the Spurs and the Nets report no inuries.
