Pickin' Magicians To The Seventh Power Vol. VI
Our Nets are out of the playoffs, but we think we should keep one of our traditions alive here at JNF - the seventh annual playoff Pickin' Magicians contest! The rules are as follows - YOU pick the winners of each series by round - the winner of this contest is the player who, at the end of the playoffs, has picked the most series correctly. Your "in x games" picks will break ties: most series picked exactly wins. If that's a tie, we'll pick the entrant who was least far off in the series he or she picked correctly

Here are the results of the first two rounds:

1.) The queen of the dance after two rounds is Jen Swho nailed all four series in the second round and now stands in first with 11 correct series (out of 12), 2 exact.
2.)The number two spot is held by, yes, you guessed it, Jen S.'s significant other, Doug S., who nailed all four series, 1 exactly, and stands with 11 series correct, 1 exact.
3.) Our third place contestant is Steve Charny, who had a great second round with 4 series winners and a whopping 3 exact. That gives Steve 10 correct, 5 exact after the two rounds.
4.) In fourth place after somehow not trusting the Spurs is yours truly Joe Netsfan, who got 3 series correct, 2 exact to stand with 10 correct, 4 exact after 2 rounds.
5.) Jon Lin, Rich McCabe and Vince Vincenzo move to a tie for fifth place with identical second rounds of four series correct, 1 exact, to give them an overall 10 series correct, 2 exact.
8.) GMOTSL catches fire with a second round of 4 series correct, 2 exact to pull to eighth with a combined 9 series correct, 3 exact.
9.) Ninth place is our Hail Mary contestant Champy, with a second round score of 3 series correct, 1 exact and a two round total of 9 series correct, 2 exact.
10.) Ken Gerew got 3 series correct, but none exactly in the second round and finds himself in 10th place with 9 series correct, 0 exact.
11.) And bringing up the rear? David Gutierrez had 3 series correct, none exact in the second round to bring his combined total to 8 series correct, 1 exact.

Best of luck to all on the Second Round!
